Liverpool Training Session! Woot!

Yea yea... I know I'm not a big fan of Liverpool but Luke is, so bleh! :P Anyway, didn't thought I would blog much about the training session but I'm sure by today many of you have heard about a MU fan turning up at the Liverpool training session wearing Manchester United Rooney 10 jersey. And since that had to happen, I was like... "this I gotta blog!!" *tee-hee* I was actually sitting on the same row as him, like a few seats away. Some people commented that Liverpool fans were being mean for asking him to take off his MU jersey and some also commented that he's stupid that he turned up at Liverpool Training Session wearing a MU jersey. Well, honestly... from what I saw on that day. He asked for it!! I'm neither a Manchester United or a Liverpool fan, I just enjoy watching football matches :) So anyway, as I was saying... what actually happened was, if he had only sat quietly from the time he walked in, nobody would even notice. But NOOOO... he was actually walking up and down the stands showing off the jersey and kissing the Manchester United badge. I was like commonnnn! You can't be that stupid. You don’t just roll into a place FULL of people who all agree on something and start saying the opposite, not only that, he had to 'aggro' them by kissing his MU badge n etc. But after a few minutes into hearing (yes i didn't say BUKAAA!) the Liverpool fans shout BUKA! BUKA! BUKA!

I began to feel sorry for him, he had this 'swt / omg' look on his face that was so pitiful. LOLZ! I was talking to this other Liverpool fan that was shouting BUKA! BUKA! :-

Me : Aiyo, kesian la.. small boy only. He looks like he's gonna cry.

Fan : Chehhh...! Standard la. Dia bodoh kerana pakai MU jersey masuk Liverpool training session.

Me : (speechless)

So yeah, he took off his MU jersey in the end, refusing to wear the Liverpool jersey.. walks out and later comes back wearing Malaysia jersey. HAHA! Kudos, a true Manchester United fan!

Luke was saying, he's lucky that it happened in Malaysia. God knows what would have happened to him if he did this else where. Conclusion, Liverpool fans weren't being harsh. They were taunted! But salute him for being a die-hard MU fan. And as usual, I give you pixies :)

8 Must-Try Methods to Kill Your Monday Blues

You are already feeling the Monday blues and it’s only Sunday. You are not alone in this. Millions of people feel the same way you do. So how do you deal with it?

1. It’s A Concept

Monday blues is a concept and while there are research to show that it is real, it’s still something where the more you think about it, the worse it becomes. The way I deal with it is to not think about it. Does it go away? I am not sure. But it sure makes me feel better.

I liken it to feeling an itch that I cannot scratch. If you think about the itch, the itchier it becomes. So, I just don’t think about the Monday morning blues and I do not remind myself of the feeling. I simply ignore it and I feel better immediately. Get that concept out of your mind. The more you think about it the worse it becomes.

2. Get Some Sunlight

Or rather get out into the open when you can. Sometimes, just by being outside helps. There has been research that shows sunlight stimulates our feel good hormones and it helps deal with the blues – Monday morning blues or otherwise.

3. To Do List On Sunday

When I return from a long vacation, I use the day before to tidy up my list of things to do at work. It helps me plan out and prepare for the load of work that awaits me when I get back to work the next day. I use the same system to deal with Mondays. Get your to-do list ready for the new week. When you have a properly planned list, you feel you are more in control and hence feel less of the Monday blues. Being prepared a day before is surely a good way of dealing with Monday morning blues.

4. Music

Some people like to start their Monday listening to music they love. Somehow or rather, it helps. Turn on the music while you make yourself a hot cup of coffee or tea in the morning, and also when preparing for work or going to work . It helps takes your mind away from the experience of Monday mornings.

5. Start Early

Let’s face it; sometimes it isn’t the Monday blues that drags us down. It’s our laziness. Or what I like to call ‘inertia from the weekend’. We sleep in on Saturdays and Sundays and have a leisure weekend, our body expects Monday to be the same. So we hit the snooze button and before you know it you are rushing again. We all know what happens when we rush. We skip breakfast, have small mishaps and before you know it, your weeks start of the wrong note. We blame it on Monday blues. But it is not about Mondays, it is simply laziness. Start your Monday early and see how that changes. Have a good breakfast and see how it changes your Monday.

6. Food

Ever thought about food as a way to tackle your Monday morning blues? By starting early you allow yourself to make yourself a good breakfast or grab one on the way to work. If you are not a breakfast person, I strongly urge you to try it to tackle your Monday blues. A stomach with fuel for the day sure helps in dealing with Monday blues. If that doesn’t work, look forward to a good lunch with good company.

7. Look Forward To Good things

There are many good things at work if you just open your eyes and be mindful. Your pay helps you settle your bills. Your colleagues have become good friends. Your bosses whom you may not always agree with are by and large, understanding when you make certain requests. Look forward to these good things when you are faced with Monday blues.

8. Phenomenon Starts So Phenomenon Must End

Everything that starts must end. It’s the same with Monday blues. It’s just the morning that you are usually most affected. Just tell yourself it isn’t permanent. It’s just a phase and as with everything else it will go away. It happens on Monday and it’s just a few hours. Before you know it, it will be over. Do not dwell on it.

Create your own dominant thought that masters your mind. Monday blues need not own you and you need not fear it. The more attached you are to the concept the worse it will affect you. Try some of these tips and see how it will help you tackle your Monday blues.

Been watching this cooking game show, 'Junior Masterchef Australia' and I must say.... OH BOY!!! Basically, in this show, kids aged 8 to 13 years old compete against each other to be the MasterChef Australia. These kids are sooooo young yet sooooo talented. I mean common, what were you doing at the age of 8? Playing with your barbie dolls or toy car? lol! They're still showing season 1 on Astro but if you've missed the beginning episodes? You can watch it on youtube *Yay!* It's a MUST to watch! k k?? You'll be soooo amazed with what these kids can cook. I feel like a NOOB. hahaha! Watch it, aite? :) Season 2 soon!! Cant wait. Wootz!

Spastic centre to get new nine-storey building

FOR a person with cerebral palsy, great effort is needed just to pick up a tambourine or hold on to a drum stick to hit on the drums.

However, with a love for music and through diligent training, the Percussion Band from the Spastic Childrenâ€™s Association of Selangor and Federal Territory can now play together in unison despite the difficulty they have in moving their limbs.

The band, consisting of about 15 members aged between 14 and 45, proudly performed two numbers for their special guest, the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

The Sultan was present at the associationâ€™s premises in Petaling Jaya to lay the foundation for a new nine-storey building under its redevelopment plans.

â€œWe have come a long way since we started out in 1960 with five children. In 1964, we had 50 children and today, we have 250 children registered with us,â€� said association president Datuk Dr Lam Peng Chong.

He said the support and understanding of their kind-hearted donors were vital in the growth of the centre.

â€œThe cost to transport one child to our centre alone is about RM200 per month and weâ€™re grateful for the people who have supported us,â€� he said.

â€œWe will also have two dormitories for girls and boys so that parents can leave their children here for the night if they have something to do,â€� he said.

He said they have managed to raise RM10mil out of the RM18mil needed for the redevelopment.

Spastic centre needs RM8m more for 9-storey complex

PETALING JAYA: The Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor and Federal Territories will be spending a total of RM18 million to build a nine-storey complex and upgrade its classrooms at its centre near Padang Astaka here by 2013.

The construction of the nine storey building which is expected to start next month. in December. It will be named after the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and will have also completed with three additional levels for parking.

The present single-storey classroom complex has 14 rooms. It will be renovated into a double-storey building with more than 20 classrooms.

Other facilities will which are to be built include a large and a small swimming pool as well as two separate dormitories for male and female trainees.

The dormitories are expected to house the trainees when caretakers go on working trips or have urgent matters to attend to overnight and cannot take the trainees along.

The association also plans to rent out office space on higher floors and of the building as well as parking bays to other non-governmental organisations.

After the foundation stone was laid by the Selangor Sultan here recently, on Thursday, the association’s president Datuk Dr Lam Peng Chong said it was short of RM8 million.

He said that a total of RM10 million had been raised for the construction of the building so far and the association was preparing to move the lessons and therapy sessions to the six-storey Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah.

“We urgently need the RM8 million to start construction on schedule. We hope that individuals and organisations come forward and donate generously,” he said, while adding that the operation costs of running the centre was RM2 million a year.

The centre, which focuses on the care, rehabilitation and education of cerebral palsy sufferers, also has physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy sessions, and computer classes.

There are currently 250 trainees going for lessons and courses at the centre. They are aged between two months and 50 years. So far the centre has touched the lives of thousands of cerebral palsy suffers.

The centre’s six-storey workshop extension building which was built in the 1990s. It was named Bangunan Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah after Sultan Sharafuddin’s late father of the current Selangor Ruler. The former Selangor Sultan was the most influential patron of the association.

The building currently has some 30 NGO tenants.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm

To all WoW fans! The first major patch for World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is upon us. Patch 4.0.1 has just been released few days ago and in this latest patch there is tons of changes, primarily the following:

Many class talents, spells, and abilities have been overhauled, added, or removed.

All spell and ability tooltips will now display damage averages rather than minimum and maximum damage potential. This feature is on by default but can be changed through the Display settings under User Interface options. *yay*

The character levels at which classes gain new spells and abilities have changed.

Many item and class stats have been changed or removed.

Mastery rating has been added as a new stat which provides unique benefits for characters based on class and talent specialization. Mastery rating does not currently exist on items in the game, however, Reforging can be used to add Mastery rating as a secondary stat to existing items.

Spells and abilities no longer have multiple ranks and now scale with character level.

Talent trees have been altered. All player talent specializations have been reset, allowing for free re-specialization. *OMG*

Each specialization has been reduced to a 31-point talent tree. *boohoo*

Players will now get a total of 41 talent points to spend.

Players will be asked to choose a specialization at level 10. Doing so will result in the unlocking of a spell or ability unique to that specialization, as well as one or more passive bonuses. *WOW*

Once a talent specialization has been chosen, players may only place points in the primary tree until at least 31 points have been spent there.

A dedicated tanking tree (Blood) has been implemented.

The effects of Blood Presence and Frost Presence have been exchanged.

The way in which runes recharge has changed.

Newayz, just to awaken the zombies from the grave and to clear the spider webs on this poor-unvisited-page, I've finally decided to bla-bla a little about my trip to Cameron Highlands.
Since it was gonna be a long weekend due to Nuzul Al-Quran and Malaysia's National Day, Luke and myself decided to spend the weekend up in Cameron, away from the city.
It was 4 days of fun, fun, fun! And oh how I miss the fresh-cold weather there. If only I could pull some strings to bring the weather down here in Klang. If only... uh? But seriously, it was a good break away from everything and everyone.

*gggggrrrroooooo* That's my hungry stomach groaning. Hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. Just got back today at 10PM, unpacked my stuff and printed my ass on the computer chair by 11:30PM till now *ahem* 3:12AM. Oh btw, just to prove that I love my country.. MERDEKA!!! MERDEKA !!! MERDEKA!!! lol, there you go, I even said it 3 times ^.^

It's already May 2010

Ever felt that time is passing too fast? You wake up...go to work....come back...eat....sleep...back to work the next day. It's Monday and *poof* next thing you know it's already friday? Cant believe that it is almost half a year. Don't really know what to feel. Happy? Sad? Just know that, life is getting a little boring, same routine everyday, no?

Work has been crazy. Don't wanna say much here, but some people can really be a pain in the ass. And I mean REALLY! A PAIN IN THE ARSE! And it's unbelievable how adults can be so childish. Common. Seriously!? *sigh*

Anyway, here's some updates.

1) Went for a 3 days 2 nights vacation at Redang Island with the boyfriend and bunch of friends. Was a superb break away from everything. The place was just awesome. Breath taking. Snorkeling was the plus plus point :) Crystal clear waters and spectacular coral reefs. Oh! We also manage to see one super huge moray eel!! It was ssssccca-ry! The fishes, awesome beyond awesome. *giggle* For those of you that have not been to Redang Island. Take my advice and go experience it yourself. Stay at Laguna Resort.

2) Got into an accident last month. Was rushed to University Hospital and got a x-ray done for my left knee. No fracture but I couldn't walk for a few weeks due to pain, swelling and instability of my left knee. Right leg was fine, just bruises here and there. And today, after about 1 month later, pain is still quite intense..still unable to fully straighten and flex my knee and slightly swollen still...I finally decided to get a MRI Scan done at Pantai Hospital Klang. Results were out few hours later...totally unexpected. Findings was : Left knee - torn ACL and lateral meniscus, joint effusion and lateral femoral condyle bruise. *sob* Doctor advised to undergo a knee surgery which is gonna cost roughly RM20k-RM25k (OMG!!) and i have to be away from work AT LEAST 6 weeks (double OMG!!). So... yeah... feeling a little depressed right now. Dilemma too. If I don't get the surgery done, I'll have more knee problems in the future. If I do go for the surgery.. my house call patients will be on hold, pain for the next few months, big hole in my pocket, stupid *cough* boss *cough* will be up to no good while I'm away and no one can promise me 100% cure after the surgery right? *help*

Been feeling down lately too. Mostly coz of work.. no actually colleagues :(

Woah! It's been ages since I last wrote one of these. lolz. Sorry for disappearing, been really tied-down with work and life. Currently, still working at Spastic Centre PJ but I opt to go part-time starting next year, January 2010. Hopefully they will approve my request
*cross fingers* Oh by the way, I've just started doing house call, so do gimme a buzz if you know anyone that needs physiotherapy treatment or needs a consult :)

December is here again. Feeling a little bit lazy to shop for gifts this year. lolz. Maybe I should treat the family for a nice big feast instead. What say you? XD Any suggestion on where to eat as a family?

Nothing much or interesting has happened in my life lately, well other than me, getting too fat to fit into almost all my clothes. I should really stop eating and work out more *looks at the threadmill and sigh* Wouldnt it be fun, if human can survive without food? That would just be awesome!

Gaahh..P1 hasnt been working too well lately, and suprisingly Streamyx has very much improved in their connection. Guess Streamyx finally decided to do something about their 'bad' internet connection..coz of the competitions I would say. P1 better do something about it or else they too are gonna lose their 'clients' to Maxis or Celcom broadband. lolz. Line was so bad that I havent logged on to World of Warcraft for a week now, latency was as high as 15k! o.O I need to do my dailies and farm for emblems! *uurgh*

Anyway, just if I go MIA again, I better wish all of you a BLESSED CHRISTMAS and

Missing you Nyeah Ma...

Nyeah Ma. That means grandmother in 'Hok Chew', and that's what we call her. Nyeah Ma was 85 years old when she left us. The memorial service was held at my granny's place in Setiawan.

I know I havent been blogging much lately, could be due to the fact that either I don't have anything to say or I have too much to share that I don't know where to start XD Well, anyway...just a brief update for you all. My head of department has just retired and well, all I can say is..things are different now. Here's a few pictures during the farewell.

Few weeks ago, we made a trip down to Malacca. Meet up with a few friends from Manipal college. Grats to those who have passed! You're now qualified Doctor(s). Also, in Malacca, for the 1st time, I learned how to fish. Yes! We went fishing and caught a big 1 *woohhoo* Okok...not me exactly, but Irfan...but still, we caught a fish! :) And we had Durian Cendol after that. Cendol wasn't all that great but the durian was the BOMB! hehehe...

Celebrated a few birthdays during the month of May and June. Dad, Cindy, Lee Lian, and Mei Lin.

Newayz, Spastic Centre offered me a job. Mon to Fri. 8am - 4:15pm. Probably just gonna screw Prince Court, it's too far to travel and time is money *bluek* or maybe I'm just LAZY. And speaking of being lazy, I'm gonna take 2 more weeks off before I actually start working, muahahaha...I know! Convo is just around the corner, 28th of March. Not really feeling it actually, I mean arent I suppose to be feeling all excited and etc? Nada!
Miss Alison, when are you coming back with my 'gifts'? LMAO! And I can't do spacing like yours, it's just too A-L-I-S-O-N hahaha...!

Dilemma

2 months back, I applied for job vacancy as a physiotherapist to a few hospitals but no respond from them. Gave up, thinking I wasnt good enough for them and most of the hospitals didnt have vacancy for physios. Just lately, don't know why, all at the same time, everyone started calling and asking if i could come for an interview. Before all this, I was actually hoping to get in Prince Court Hospital knowing it's an international standard hospital, 5 star AND pay is quite erm 'promising' (lolz) but after waiting for a few weeks I kinda gave up coz to get in Prince Court, you must have at least a Degree in your hand as well as, 5 years working experience.
Well, 2 weeks ago I went for an interview at Dr. Aston's Sports Clinic and all went well during the interview. Am suppose to give him the answer this week. If I do plan to work there, it'd be a good working experience for me because Dr. Aston is a UK trained Sports Physician and an experienced in treating elite athletes. It's a no doubt that I can learn alot from him.
And just last week, Spastic Centre PJ rang me up asking if I'm still interested in coming for an interview. Went for the interview. They're very happy with my bubbly and friendly personality and asked if I'm interested in joining them as a physiotherapist there. But I would need to volunteer myself 2 weeks there before they can actually accept me as a staff there. You know, like a probation kinda thingie?
And guess what? Just today morning, PRINCE COURT HOSPITAL actually called me for an interview with them for this thursday! I mean golly gosh! Prince Court Hospital?! It's like a once in a life time opportunity! BUT I start my volunteering work at Spastic Centre on Wednesday.
*BIG SIGH* I was just thinking to myself, why must Prince Court call me after everyone has kinda 'gave' me a job... *urgh*
Newayz, what I'll do is thank Dr. Aston for the chance given but appologize for not being able to work there. His working hour just doesn't really suit mine. I might need to work till pass 7pm and in future, I would be needed in the clinic and field. I know that would be really kewl but naahhh.. And dealing with the sports condition just isnt the 1st thing on my list to be honest.
As for Spastic Centre, I love kids! And I love neuro rehab. I would rather treat a stroke patient rather than a musculoskeletal patient. So it's Spastic Centre or Prince Court. The down part for Prince Court is that, I would needa travel close to 3-4 hours a day and I will needa work on Sat(s) too..abit a pain in the ass don't cha' think? So, Spastic Centre it will be unless they don't wanna hire me. So, we'll see in 2 weeks time then :)

Okay, I may be out-dated but I just found out recently that Bed Head TIGI® has made a decision to stop all their BODY products, why?? No more body shower gel, body lotion, body scrubs, and body spray! OMG..! No more oatmeal cookie shower gel *sigh* Was searching high and low for BODY by Bed Head but no where to be seen,not a single bottle *roar* until yesterday. Thanks from SHINS from Subang Parade, they had the last 4 bottles of Oatmeal Cookie body scrubs and guess what?
YES! I bought all 4 of them! Muahahaha! The last 4 on earth! o.O *kiss my Oatmeal Cookie with love*

Yesterday, I sat for my theory exam. 100 questions of case studies. Not bad.

Today, was my clinical exam at Seremban GH. Luck wasn't on my side, I think both the invigilators kinda told me indirectly that I'm gonna fail... *lonnnggg siiiggghhh*
Strict invigilators + nervous me = fail.

Am really disappointed with myself.

As you all can see,I had a minor accident and fractured my hand :'( Was on the way back home from work and it was slightly drizzling. The not-so-smart-side of my brain tot i should ride a little faster to avoid getting wet, and so I did..trying to beat the red light I ran into the car which stopped suddenly at the traffic. *BANGGG!* hit the car and fell from my bike.
Hahahah...just kidding la, think i'd still be in good shape to blog here? *bluek*
We had a crash course on how to apply
'Plaster of Paris' and so i voluntered to be the model *tee-hee* Gosh! that freaking thang was on my hand for at least 18 hours and after removing it, it felt sooooooooo good! ahhaha...
Now i know how much my patient suffered wearing that POP (for a few months mind you), not being able to move your joints and groom urself properly. * gaaahhhh*

Mum woke up with Bell's Palsy this morning. For those of you who don't know what bell's palsy is, it is actually paralysis of the facial nerve resulting in inability to control facial muscles on the affected side. Mum's having slight difficulty in swallowing too :( Seems that there's no 100% cure for Bell's Palsy but with faith in God, medication and mum's determination to do her facial exercises..hopefully miracle WILL happen and she'll be fully recovered. Mum's also kinda upset about it so do pray for mum.

Cant believe I have exactly 4 more months till I graduate. Don't know if I'm actually ready to work YET. I still can remember the 1st day of college, thinking it's gonna be a omg-3 years-more-to-go but nooo 2006 feels like yesterday. Anyway, for those who don't know..I'm currently doing my final posting at Klang GH so it's all good,infact it's superb I must say, coz my mum used to work there and so everyone kinda know her. No more big bully like *ahem* Digi *cough* Datin..gah if only you know them. 2 most annoying human being(s) on earth. Newayz, back to the topic, the funny thing is, there's 2 S/N Ding(s). One's Jason Chuah's mum and the other's my dearest mummy. So, often they'll ask "which S/N Ding ar??" and my reply would be "Not Ding from the clinic but ward 2B" then as expected they'll respond with "OOoOOhHHHh!! Wah!! You so big edy ar? So you're posted here huh?? Are you the youngest? How's your mum?..."
You get the picture la...all those questions that aunties and uncles would often ask...lolz...
Don't get me wrong, I'm not even a bit irritated, it feels good that my working place feels like home since mummy used to work here and the people is really nice to you? (dun care fake or not la) =D Another fun thing at Klang GH is that on Fridays, we work half day. After lunch we have this thing called CME where all the doctors will discuss about medical conditions n etc. So, it's kinda like a plus point..extra knowledge you know..lolz..

2 more weeks to go and I'll be done with my clinicals in this God forbidden place,lolz.Sorry, that just really had to come out. Rumour says that I'll be posted to Klang GH for my next 4 months of clinicals. If that's so...oh God! I would attend church every sunday..and no, not to bribe God, but I just simply want to...hhm....go *smiles*

Not to brag but it's really a nice feeling when u see your patient gets better and thank you with such a sincere heart saying all sort of nice things that you want to hear, like, I've been a very good physiotherapist or saying I'm like their own daughter because I take good care of them, or saying Im good because I respect the elderly. No..really...I'm just saying...it's a pleasant feeling like 'music' to my ears :) Well, you may never know how this would feel by hearing it just from me unless you experience it yourself. I may sound a little crack after 3 months of social-zero here but i guess this feeling is the only thing that is keeping me going since there's seriously and absolutely nothing here that would entertain me..

Well, it's almost lunch time now and I better head back to the department. Really missing all of you back there!!

Okayyy...I just realized that it's freakly fast that 1 month has gone by since I last blogged. Just a little update letting you guys know that I'm not dead YET. *smile* 3 weeks here at Kepala Batas, Butterworth has been, hhm....boring? Well can't expect much knowing that it's social-life-o-zero here. Like seriously! We don't have any entertainment here. No malls, no nothing! Well even if there is, it's kinda far from where I'm staying. Anyhow, I'm managing la. Pretty free during working hours too. I was posted here to do my Neurology, Paediatrics, Women's Health and Geriatrics but there isn't much of those cases here so I'm kinda repeating my previous posting doing Musculoskeletal and Cardiorespiratory *cries* On Fridays, we're free after 12:15pm because it's like a weekly routine that our department is being washed,waxed and cleaned. And speaking of clean. Seriously, the department is squeeky-squeeky clean! The cleaner cleans the department 24/7. Like seriously! No kidding! AHAHAH... Morning!Afternoon!Evening! *thumbs up* Newayz, it's time to go home now. Oh by the way, it's my little nephew, Ryan's birthday this Sunday. He's finally turning 1 years old *jumps* Will be travelling back to Klang tonight to see the family. Off I go!

Today, we celebrated mummy's birthday, 3 days earlier because sister won't be free on tuesday. Went to this yummy restaurant somewhere in PJ, can't remember the name of the shop..ahaha...sorry didn't take any picture of the delicious food we had. Moving a little too fast

How come everything seems to be going by so so so fast? Can’t believe that I’m actually turning 21 this year. Honestly, I don’t feel any older nor any wiser (lolz). And by next year, prolly (and hopefully) I’d be working and few years down the road I’d be getting invitations to my friends’ wedding and a couple of years later, to their baby’s fullmoon =D Come to think of it, this is starting to get a lil’ bit freaky. I mean everything is just moving too fast and it’s like I’m not given a chance to even enjoy my ‘teen’ life (which is now…ahem long gone?) What happen to all those ‘masak-masak’ game, Barbie doll-dollie, dress up play and etc? Okay, maybe I am a little bit too old for all those games but sometimes I do miss playing them. It’s kinda fun being a ‘kid’ once in a while you know. Don’t you miss those days, where you didn’t have a single thing to worry about? I know I do. I don’t hate growing up just that I’m not so sure if I’m ready to do so yet. Learning to stand on your own 2 feet is just…something I can do but…. Owh nvm…

Anyway, he’s 5 hours away from me to do his final practical posting. Missing him lots but coping it better this time compared to the last. Yay me! I’ve grown up a little, haven’t I? Guess I just got to learn to keep myself occupied with…books? *giggle* yeah, speaking of books, that’s the only thing lying around in my room right now. Books, books, books and more books. Feels nerdy, yes? Oh, and just so you know, this would be my last 2 months of theory and off I go finishing up my posting outstation till the end of the year and then that’s where the real nightmare starts, final exams! Viva! Gosh, I really hope I get thru viva. For those of you who is wondering what viva is? Well, it’s actually where the examiners give you a real patient where you have to like rule out the diagnosis, explain, and treat the patient..everything within one hour (only one hour!! This ain’t easy I tell you). Also, they will ask you any questions regarding what we’ve learned from the very 1st year till the 3rd year or even questions that will make us think till our brain expodes. Lots and lots of tricky question. *stress-o-meter-rising-sky-high*. This isn’t me getting all paranoid but that is just what we have been told and chances of passing is kinda slim. So yeah…get my point? Alritey, guess I’ve spend a little too much time here, gotta go now! Will update soon? :)

Hey guys, so sorry about not being able to blog lately. Been really tied down with assignments, presentation and currently my posting at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, 2 more weeks and I'm done. Also, I've been really sick lately :( *boohoo* Last 3 weeks, I was down with super high fever, severe headache, joint pain, body ache, nausea and etc...it lasted for a week and Dr. suspected dengue o.O but guess it wasn't? prolly just some viral fever? Oh well, fortunately my fever started going down a week later but no thankz to Mr flu,cough and sore throat coz they decided to attack me... *roar* It's been 2 weeks now that I'm sick...(gimme a break weh!) Feeling really weak and dehydrated. Worst part is, my immune system is already so low...I still have no choice but to treat patients, even patients who are highly infected. God knows la what has infected me. No I'm freaking serious! Grandpa...

Grandpa passed away.
I feel numb.
I haven't lost anyone close to me before.
This is the 1st funeral of a family member I'm attending.
I don't like this feeling.
I miss you, grandpa.
We haven't spoken much since you had stroke many years ago.
And this year, when I heard that you were diagnosed with last stage liver cancer,
I didn't really know how to react to that.
Only this year...and you're no longer with us.
Why did he leave us so fast?

I hope dad,mum, grandma and everyone else is okie.
Losing grandpa is not easy.
He has always been a very strict but caring, loving, fun and cute grandpa.
We love him in many ways.
I didn't get to spend enough time before he left us
because grandpa stays far away from us.
Now it's too late.
I feel the regret.
Family rushed down to Kedah yesterday night, but i stayed back.
Why didn't I go?
Now grandpa is gone.
Forever.
Funeral is on Wednesday.
I'm going to Kedah to see him.
For the last time.

Went down to Penang last weekend to visit my grandpa at the hospital. Grandpa has loss a lot of weight and looking very ill. Btw, he's diagnosed with last stage liver cancer. He isn't talking much, only responding to us with head movements. Anyway,yesterday, don't know why but he insisted to go back home, so now he is back home in Kedah resting. Hopefully he is fine.
Newayz, today was my last day for finals exam. I think I did ok except for my cardiorespiratory paper. Update soon.

Hehe...you must be thinking I'm a 'c-u-c-k-o-o' for getting this excited over nothing. Well, honestly...my college hasnt always been the type of college where you feel like you're in a college. Lolz...confusing? Ahh...anyway, the whole of physiotherapy course shifted over to PJ somewhere beginning of this year.And guess where? To Millenium Court...wondering where is it? Sad but true, it's an APARTMENT...lolz....so yea...Everything was just plain dull.. -.-"
Imagine, library was small and crappy with not so many books..the gym and electrotherapy room was as small as your house toilet (haha,okay not THAT small but you get the point!), there werent any computer lab and there werent any shops around like what we use to have in damansara height.
But then... *ta-da* after about less than half a year, they built this really huge,awesome,super duperly university like kinda nice college :) Seriously, I would have never expected them to plan out something nice. Library looks c-l-a-s-s-y *smiles* Gym and electrotherapy room was huge huge huge!! And i pretty like the walk way and etc. All Glassy and transparent, hehe... Cant really see much tho from this picture but in conclusion... Everything came out right in the end.

It's strange how people can't remain friends after a 'break up'. I'm not just talking about the bf or gf but also the siblings, as well as the relatives. You use to be really close to them. 3.28am-I would usually either be in bed by now, 'surfing' friendster or prolly watching my episodes of Greys Anatomy(over and over again :P) but noooo... Miss Eva is thirsty for some liquor...!! Infact, my throat has been itching for some liquor for the past few weeks. *ggaahhh*

Anyway, as I was saying...tonight was a little different than the usual..You know me, I'm not the type of person who would do something called R-E-A-D-I-N-G but since I was feeling
a little *cough* very *cough* restless...so, I goggle-ed up some stuff about liquors. I knew there were variety ways of serving but I didn't know what it was called and so today *tada* I found out how each serving was called (yaya, call me a noob) :

On the rocks — spirits are to be served and drunk over ice.
Straight up — the spirit is to be shaken or stirred with ice, but drunk by itself, with the ice filtered out.
Neat — the spirit is served and consumed by itself, with nothing added.
With a simple mixer such as tonic water, cola, etc.

It was rather interesting and now not only can I make liquor as my 2nd 'water', I too know a thing or two about it >.<

Hey peepsters...! How's everyone doing? As i remember, i promised to blog about my 1 week in penang, yes? Well...i can say that it was fun no doubt, but had ALOT of work to do. Working hours was from 8:30am till 4pm. People there were really friendly, kids were really cute and funny, penang food definately yummy but weather was at a killer temperature, moreover the spastic centre wasn't air conditioned so it made things worst.

Newayz, i was assigned to do a case study on this adorable looking kido which unfortunately turn out to be a little devil. Like seriously! He chooses the people he wanna speak to, he chooses the people he wanna be nice to and he chooses to allow people to do the exercises/activities for him. This 6 years old spoilt brat just had to always go against me. And he's really attached to his mum, so whenever his mum is no where to be seen..he would immediately scream into my ears, asking for his mum! Like OMG..! And mind you, even if his mum just leaves him for 1 second he's already looking around for his mum and would just totally ignore me (not to say that he doesnt ignore me even if he's mum is there, haha) Well just my luck that he's also diagnosed with behavioural problem, so that made things harder for me. *boohooo* He enjoys bullying the other kids too and if he doesnt like you, he would pinch you, while putting on an innocent face. How annoying isn't it? *sigh*

Well besides that, I was given a theory test on cerebral palsy on my second day there, had to do case study, write an observation report, interview-ing parents report, activity report, had to do some stretching exercises for the kids..watch their gait pattern..observe their movement..posture..etc and finalize my searching to the physiotherapist in charge and after that i gotta think of physio interventions for that kid, lastly i also gotta sit for another theory test on the last day of my posting there.

Well, that's about it, my 1 week in Penang :) Working hours was tough but then again it also had it's fun side. Owh..did you guys knew about the 4bucks DVDs and VCDs at Batu Feringgi? You can basically get anything there...and I mean anything and everything.From hentai(haha) to Naruto to Greys Anatomy to Korean drama and of course musics..hehee...and etc and etc

Finally, the nightmare has ended!! I can say that this semester's finals was rather tough :(

OSPE practical was shitty, Musculoskeletal II paper was tricky for the MCQs, getting ready to re-take Cardiorespiratory II paper coz it was just friggin tough,like OMG I left almost the entire essay paper blank, yes! you heard me right, blank! But electrotherapy paper was okay. Guess I gotta blame myself too, for slacking off too much this semester.. *giggle*

Newayz, will be away to Penang this sunday for a week, for my clinical posting at the Cerebral Palsy centre..Will update when I get back, IF i'm not feeling lazy which i think i would be..haha..

OMG...!! This week is suppose to be my study week which also means no classes...only study breaks for us and so I was actually leaving this whole week to study for my finals which is next week, but turns out to be that this whole week, I'll be having my classes (coz good old lecturers aint done with syllabus), test on wednesday (last minute 30% test +_="), my mock practical test on thursday and OSPE exam on saturday (OSPE = can't remember what is this called but OSPE is one of the practical exam for finals) Boooohooo....there goes my study week....and I'm not even prepared for my finals exam next week. What stresses me up most is that we only found out about the tests and OSPE exam yesterday, monday, no time to even prepare !! Been slacking off too much this semester, hope I will do well...Pray for me!! and pray hard! ehhehe...

Went to the curve yesterday to have dinner. Ate at some pancake restaurant. Paddington something pancakes?? Not bad, food tasted quite good just that every single thing on the menu has to be serve with pancakes *tee-hee* Right after dinner, we decided to catch a midnight movie but sad to say..tix were sold out and so we went to Laundry. No not that laundry place where you send your clothes to wash it's Laundry the bar?? hehehe..

Today, Luke's church had some sports day going on. So thought I join them. Had a few fun events between other methodist churches. As you can see in the picture, I was one of the 'victims' for one of the events, where your partner has to tie as many ponytails on your head. So yeah *wink* hehee...

Oh yea, and about 2 weeks ago Luke's dog, Mochachillo gave birth to 7 adorable puppies. Aren't they lovely?? ^.^

A feeling which you’ll never understand

I’ve always questioned God what is his purpose of putting me here on this earth. Is it to be tortured? It is because it’s just simply fun watching me suffer? Or there’s no reason at all.

It has been and still is really hard trying to walk alone on this earth. Finding your way thru life. Having no one by your side. No one to turn-to when you really need one and a shoulder to cry on. Even your family, your love ones. They are suppose to be the ones that understand you the most, be there for you and to comfort you when you’re feeling down, but no. Disappointment. I feel un-wanted. I feel used. I feel stupid. I feel worthless. I’m nobody. I feel so un-loved and so empty.

I don’t think I can pretend to be happy anymore. It’s a breaking down point for me. I can no longer wake up and pretend like everything is okay when I know it is not. I can’t lie to myself anymore. I just can’t.

Why cant I just live a happy life like others? Why does God have to make my life a living hell? Why me?

There is no reason why I should live anymore, really. There’s nothing left here or I should say, it has always been nothing. Somehow, I look forward to death. Many times, I would picture how I die or even actually DIE in my dreams. Call me superstitious, but someone once told me, if you die in your dreams…you die in reality. That would be kewl, wouldn’t it?

Well, look on the bright side, at least when I’m gone, it wouldn’t make anyone sad :)

I can die peacefully. Isn’t that nice? Yea, probably death would be the nicest thing that would happen in my entire life.

Everyone please pray for my dog, Snoopy. Lately, he has been suffering from some skin disease all around the neck area. I've brought him to 2 vets so far and he's not getting any better. Doctor said probably it's Eczema. He might be allergic to something and we're not sure what it could be because it could be anything. Food? Atmosphere? Treats? You name it...it can be ANYTHING!

I really wonder why taking LAN subjects were made to be compulsory. It's not like everyone is going to work under government when they graduate. People say learning Malaysian studies would make you love your country more and as for Moral, make you a better person and understand other religions? What do I think? As you can see, I’ve kinda ~~or more like~~ completely run out of things to write about anymore. Actually, when I first started blogging, I was really addicted to it. It was really fun, it was like my day wouldn’t be complete without blogging. I was always looking forward to the next day, so that I could blog something about it. >.<
Unlike now, I hardly have anything to say er.. type. It’s been years since I actually gone to church sincerely. I still remember how I use to love going to church when I was younger. I wouldn’t even miss a single meeting, all the youth gatherings, Sunday meetings, outings and the youth/family camps we have yearly. I’ve always look forward to next week’s meeting or next year’s camp. But it’s different now, things have changed. After the not-so-sweet-incident that happened in one of the church I was attending, I just didn’t want to go back to church Well, all this years of not going to church somehow seriously made me lost touch with God. It’s like…I hardly know Him now.  Whenever I’m asked to join them for church gatherings and etc, I just really don’t have the heart to go. Sometimes, I feel it’s like just a waste of time. Which is bad. I know. Oh well, anyhow I recently tried going back to church this year, some other church by the way…and well, it’s just not the same…I mean I grew up in a brethren church so I guess I’m just really use to how they have the meetings and etc. I kinda wish things would go back to how it use to be, like when I was younger. And hoping, still hoping in fact that people wouldn’t see me as someone who goes to church only to socialize. Sad. It’s not easy to IGNORE what people think/say about you. And it hurts,badly.

the casket. after that they tried to
carry the coffin. it could be
moved and they carried it into the van
easily. all of us were shocked. (can u
feel the fear. i'm shaking at this
moment)

Priya's parents didnt inform Shankar
that Priya had passed away. (pity
Shankar). after 2 weeks Shankar called
Priya's mom.

Shankar :...."Atte, I'm coming home
2day. cook something nice for me.

her mother replied....."u come home

after he came to shah alam, they told

darin's help again. pak darin brought

matter. he & Darin worked
for 5 hours. then they discovered one
thing...

tok Chen was sweating. his face was red
. "i just cant believe this. it's quite
amazing" he said. " i didn't think that
this could actually happen.

I have no idea what the heck I'm doing sitting here.I should be studying! finishing up my piles of assignment! focusing! Urgh....So much to do but so little time left.Exams are about less than 3 weeks time and lecturers are AGAIN giving us last minute assingments.Wtf lar! Not only that,we don't even know what the heck we're suppose to study for our exam. There is so many chapters left that we have not cover. sob sob...

Was informed about 2 very sad news today.Kak Yoga's sister and Ivy's dad passed away yesterday.Both this girls are from my college.Classmates to be exact.Hope they're okie.Hugs.
Things like this can't be changed.No turning back.It saddens me. *tears*
